Company History
Nu-Health-Network is not a new product. Nu-Health-Network, Inc. acquired the TripleNet Health Network division of Benefits of America in 2003. Benefits of America has offered a number of different plans and programs since 1990. The first successful introduction was of Union Benefits of America (UBA), followed by a PPO, a workman's compensation PPO and a credentialing service (these products will continue to be marketed and serviced through Benefits of America). Over the last two years and during the first six months of 2003, Benefits of America with the support of the Nu-Health-Network founders have refined the TripleNet Health Network that is now being re-introduced under the Nu-Health-Network umbrella.
  • Using the UBA model, where medical providers offer services to their clients at greatly discounted fees, Nu-Health-Network makes available those types of discounts to the general public. The participants who join Nu-Health-Network agree to pay the providers with cash, check or credit card at the time of service.
  • Nu-Health-Network offers a Nationwide PPO with over 400,000 physicians and 5,500 hospitals and facilities.
  • Nu-Health-Network is an independent company and has no relationship with Benefits of America.

What Makes Us Different?
What makes Nu-Health-Network different? There are several key areas that distinguish Nu-Health-Network from other medical savings card programs. While there are many differences, we would like to focus on our commitment to customer service and patient advocacy. These services are what make the Nu-Health-Network Program stand out from the rest.
  • Nu-Health-Network Re-Prices Medical Bills: Nu-Health-Network is directly involved in every encounter between our members and their doctors and hospitals. Our Solution Center Reps go to extremes to be sure that the doctors and hospitals actually call us so we can intercede for our members and assist with the implemen-tation of the program. Nu-Health-Network uses high-tech computerized systems to re-price every medical bill so we can be sure our members actually receive the network-reduced price. Most other membership card programs do not do this.
  • Nu-Health-Network Explains the Programs: Every Nu-Health-Network member receives his or her Membership Kit with a special message attached that tells them to call before he or she goes to visit a doctor or hospital. Why? We want to welcome each new member, explain the program, make sure he or she knows how to make an appointment, and that he or she is maximizing the available savings. Other "discount" card programs leave it up to their members to figure it all out.
  • Nu-Health-Network has a Unique Hospitalization Program: We instruct each member to contact us before any scheduled hospitalization so that we can be actively involved. Nu-Health-Network assists in locating the best hospital that will yield the most savings. We explain the differences between services provided and we will help you understand the hospital's procedures. Nu-Health-Network has the fee schedules for all of the participating hospitals so we can inform our members of individual hospital pricing.
  • Nu-Health-Network is Accessible: Do you know where you can find the Nu-Health-Network telephone number? The Nu-Health-Network telephone number is on the Membership ID Card, in the Membership Kits, and in our letters. The number is toll-free! Your local sales consultant will also provide support for your membership.
  • Nu-Health-Network Sales Consultant Professionals: Competitor programs are sold by non-professionals (often in companies called pyramid marketing schemes). The Nu-Health-Network professionals have built a reputation in their communities and because they live there, they better understand the needs of the members. Many of the Nu-Health-Network Representatives have opened their own offices, so you know where to find them if you ever need them.
