Q: What is Nu-Health-Network?
A: Nu-Health-Network is a discount membership healthcare plan. Top
|
Q: Is Nu-Health-Network an insurance program?
A: NO. We do not sell or offer insurance of any kind. The Nu-Health-Network membership program was developed to provide significant health and medical cost savings to its members. These savings would not be possible if our program was structured as an insurance product. However, we do provide a link to an insurance company that has developed several high deductible short-term medical insurance products that make a nice companion to our Nu-Health-Network discount program. Please Click Here for more information. If you would like to learn more about these types of solutions, call us at 888-304-8006 and we will arrange for an agent in your area to get in touch with you. Q: What coverage can I get?
A: Nu-Health-Network does not provide coverage like health insurance. It is a network of providers who offer significant discount for prompt payment. Potential members have a choice of three programs. Silver, Gold, and Platinum (good, better, and best). Top
|
Q: Does Nu-Health-Network pay 20% to 50% of my bill?
A: Nu-Health-Network does not work like insurance. The patient is responsible to promptly pay the bill, but the bill is significantly discounted and often would be less than the total cost of insurance (which includes the premium, deductible, and co-pay added together). Top
|
Q: I have called a few doctors you have listed on your web page and they said they have never heard of Nu-Health-Network. Why don't they know who you are?
A: Nu-Health-Network is a new and innovative approach to accessing affordable healthcare. With over 400,000 providers nationwide, it should be expected that many providers would not be familiar with our name just yet. However, the providers listed on our web page DO have agreements with the PPO networks providing services to our Nu-Health-Network members. Your membership ID cards, which include the appropriate PPO network names, will have the necessary information on them for the providers to process your savings. Top
|
Q: How much can I expect to receive in savings?
A: There are many factors involved in determining the percentage of savings you will receive. These factors generally include which provider you select, whether the provider is a medical specialist, the nature of services or type of prescription drugs received by you, your geographic location, and the type of facility where you receive your services. For a better understanding, please ask your sales consultant or call Nu-Health-Network. Top
|
Q: What happens in an emergency when I have to be hospitalized?
A: The Nu-Health-Network Membership ID Card is key to accessing your provider network. Always understand which hospitals and providers are part of the Nu-Health-Network network of providers. Your Membership ID Card will provide you with access, and the hospital will verify within 48 hours that you are a member. Your Nu-Health-Network Solution Center will help you to secure the best rates. Members may be asked for a cash deposit or a credit card number. Top
|
Q: Why doesn't Nu-Health-Network cover everything?
A: The Nu-Health-Network provider list is extensive (over 400,000 providers nationwide), and the network savings are significant (some up to 70% savings). Some providers do not offer discounts on their services. Top
|

A: Currently, millions of Americans have little or no healthcare benefits and think they cannot afford the cost of medical services. Q: How can I find out which pharmacies are providers?
A: Savings on prescription drugs are provided through EHO Network. The EHO logo will appear on the Membership ID Card. The Membership ID Card will also tell the pharmacist that the member is part of the Nu-Health-Network Program, and that all payments are to be collected directly from the member.
There are over 50,000 pharmacies participating in the EHO Network, including ABCO, CostCo, Fry’s, Safeway, Basha’s, K-Mart, Wal-Mart, Hy-Vee, Winn-Dixie, Publix, Target, Grand Union, United Managed Care, Kroger, Medicine Shoppe, and many more. All of the participating pharmacies in your area will be listed in the Supplemental Directory in the Membership Kit. Because this list of pharmacies can change from time to time, members should check with the Solution Center before selecting a pharmacy.
